The VMC 850 milling machine adopts a servo-driven, direct-drive semi-closed-loop vertical structure for the X, Y, and Z axes. All three axes are equipped with high-rigidity box guideways featuring excellent load-bearing capacity, while the worktable supports loads of up to 500 kg. To prevent deformation during machining, all cast components undergo thorough annealing to eliminate internal stress.

The machine is capable of machining a variety of complex parts, including discs, plates, housings, cams, and molds, in a single setup. It supports multiple machining operations such as drilling, milling, boring, reaming, and rigid tapping, making it suitable for high-mix, small- to medium-batch production.

VMC 850 milling machine fourth axis

The fourth axis of a machining center is a rotary table added to the conventional three-axis machining system, commonly referred to as a rotary axis. By adding a fourth axis, the workpiece can achieve precise 360° rotation without repeated disassembly and re-clamping.
