This CNC vertical lathe for wheel hub machining is designed for heavy-duty disc-type components, wheel hubs, and large flanges. It features an X-axis travel of 800 mm and a Z-axis travel of 700 mm. This range of motion enables comprehensive machining operations on large-diameter workpieces, including internal and external diameter turning, face turning, and grooving.The machine offers a maximum swing diameter of Φ1000 mm, a rated maximum machining diameter of Φ900 mm, and a cutting height of 700 mm. Equipped with a 24-inch hydraulic chuck, it can handle heavy-duty components with outer diameters of 800–900 mm in a single setup, eliminating the need for re-clamping or segmented machining and significantly reducing errors caused by repeated positioning. The hydraulic chuck provides stable clamping with uniform force and no slippage, making it suitable for heavy workpieces made of cast steel, forged aluminum, or cast iron.

The CNC vertical lathe features a heavy-duty linear guideway structure. The X-axis is equipped with two 45 mm linear guideways, while the Z-axis uses two 55 mm linear guideways. These large-capacity guideways provide excellent load-bearing performance and maintain stability during long-term machining of heavy workpieces, helping to extend machine service life and maintain machining accuracy.

Two turret configurations are available: a 4-station turret and an 8-station turret. Customers can select the most suitable option based on their production requirements. The 4-station turret is well suited for high-volume production of simple disc-type components and offers a cost-effective solution. The 8-station turret can accommodate external turning, internal boring, parting, and threading tools simultaneously, allowing multiple machining operations to be completed in a single setup without frequent manual tool changes. This makes it particularly suitable for workshops that process a wide variety of parts.

The machine is driven by a 22 kW spindle motor and features a Φ160 mm spindle bore with a speed range of 100–800 rpm. It is suitable for rough machining of forgings and castings. The high-torque spindle motor provides stable cutting performance during heavy stock-removal operations, helping maintain productivity under demanding machining conditions.

The cooling system is equipped with a coolant pump rated at 133 L/min with a delivery head of 40 m. The coolant tank is separated from the main machine body to reduce the effect of cutting heat on machining accuracy. Coolant is delivered through an integrated piping system within the machine base to flush away chips and reduce chip accumulation in the machining area.
