CNC Vertical Turning Lathe

A CNC vertical turning lathe is a metal-cutting machine tool with a vertical spindle configuration, primarily used for machining disc-, ring-, flange-, and hub-shaped components, as well as other rotational parts. Compared with traditional horizontal lathes, CNC vertical lathes provide greater convenience when handling and clamping large or heavy workpieces. They can perform a wide range of operations, including external turning, internal turning, facing, grooving, drilling, boring, and threading. As a result, they are widely used in industries such as automotive manufacturing, construction machinery, rail transportation, energy equipment, wind power, shipbuilding, and general machining.

Large-Scale Machining Capability

The machine offers a maximum swing over the bed of φ650 mm, a maximum turning diameter of φ600 mm, and a maximum turning height of 600 mm, making it well suited for machining medium- to large-sized disc and hub-type components.
Its X-axis travel of 425 mm and Z-axis travel of 90–690 mm provide sufficient machining range for workpieces of different sizes and heights.

Stable and Reliable Spindle System

The spindle speed ranges from 100 to 1000 rpm, covering low- to medium-speed turning operations and accommodating the machining of various materials, including cast iron and steel.
Powered by an 18.5 kW motor and featuring a φ160 mm spindle diameter, the spindle system delivers high torque and rigidity. It can withstand heavy cutting loads, ensuring stable performance during demanding machining operations.

Hydraulic Clamping and Multi-Station Turret Configuration

The machine comes standard with an 18-inch hydraulic chuck that provides stable clamping force and accommodates large-diameter workpieces, significantly improving clamping efficiency and concentricity.
The turret is available in 4-station or 8-station configurations to meet multi-process machining requirements, reduce tool change times, and improve overall machining efficiency.

Linear Guideway Design

Both the X and Z axes utilize dual 45 mm-wide rolling linear guideways, providing high load-bearing capacity, superior positioning accuracy, and excellent impact resistance. These guideways resist deformation during long-term operation, ensuring consistent machining accuracy.
