Airframe structural configuration

Machine Bed
The bed is cast from high-quality HT300 gray cast iron and undergoes stress-relief aging treatment to eliminate internal casting stresses, resulting in a stable structure with high strength and reduced deformation. The optimized vibration-damping design effectively suppresses cutting vibration, minimizing its influence on surface quality during continuous wheel hub machining and improving overall operational stability.

Standard Hydraulic Chuck and Rotary Cylinder
The machine is equipped with a Φ400 waterproof hydraulic chuck as standard, designed for rapid clamping and machining of disc-shaped components such as wheel hubs. Sealing strips are installed on the sliding surfaces between the jaw guides and chuck body to prevent coolant from entering the spindle assembly, which may cause corrosion, while also preventing chips from entering the sliding interfaces and damaging the guide surfaces. Three T-slots on the chuck face allow quick installation of different fixtures, enabling convenient switching between wheel hub models without major modifications and improving machine versatility.

High-Precision Spindle Assembly
The machine adopts a proven spindle structure. The front end is supported by double-row cylindrical roller bearings combined with bidirectional thrust angular contact ball bearings, while the rear end uses double-row cylindrical roller bearings. This configuration improves radial load capacity and axial rigidity. The spindle is driven by the main motor through an imported synchronous belt, ensuring efficient power transmission while reducing noise and vibration. This enables the machine to perform both low-speed, high-torque cutting and high-speed machining operations.

Feed Drive System
Both X and Z feed axes are driven by servo motors directly connected to ball screws through elastic couplings. The ball screws use a fixed-fixed support arrangement to minimize backlash and provide smooth, responsive transmission. Both axes are equipped with cylindrical roller guideways capable of carrying equal loads in four directions, providing high precision, high load capacity, and excellent rapid traverse performance. The compact structure requires minimal maintenance, making the machine suitable for batch production applications requiring consistent wheel hub dimensions.

Automatic Centralized Lubrication System
The machine is equipped with an automatic centralized lubrication system that supplies precise amounts of lubricant to key moving components, including guideways and ball screws, at scheduled intervals. This reduces manual maintenance requirements and ensures long-term lubrication of critical components. The system is equipped with lubricant level and pressure alarms. When the lubricant level is low or the system pressure becomes abnormal, the machine immediately alerts the operator for inspection and maintenance, helping prevent accuracy loss or operational issues caused by insufficient lubrication.

Configuration Options and Machining Applications

Two tool turret configurations are available: horizontal and vertical. The horizontal turret features a compact design and is suitable for standard wheel hub turning operations. The vertical turret provides greater tool capacity, enabling multiple complex machining operations to be completed in a single setup and improving overall process integration.

With a repeatability of 0.012 mm, the machine meets the dimensional accuracy requirements for precision wheel hub finishing. The 18.5 kW main motor provides sufficient power for high material removal rates during rough turning of wheel hub blanks.
