The machining center can be divided into horizontal machining center and vertical machining center. Among them, the horizontal machining center has significant advantages in chip removal, complex concave and mold cavity processing, especially suitable for processing large workpieces.

Horizontal machining centers have more advantages in chip removal than vertical machining centers. The iron chips of the horizontal machining center are discharged from the bottom and can be directly dropped into the chip extractor or chip extractor to avoid the problem of iron chip accumulation.
