Single Column CNC Vertical Lathe
The single-column CNC vertical lathe features full enclosure protection to prevent chip intrusion and is available with vertical, horizontal, or live-tooling (milling) turret configurations. An optional servo turret is also available.
Chips are automatically conveyed to the chip removal system, eliminating manual cleaning and ensuring efficient chip evacuation during operation.
The spindle is supported by high-precision double-row cylindrical roller bearings and bidirectional thrust angular contact ball bearings. This bearing arrangement is designed to withstand heavy cutting and feed loads while providing excellent radial and axial rigidity, ensuring high rotational accuracy and stable machining performance.

Characteristics of CNC Lathes
Axis Feed Travel
The machine features an X-axis travel of 700 mm and an adjustable Z-axis travel range of 130–830 mm. It accommodates a wide range of components, including wheel hubs, brake discs, elevator traction sheaves, motor housings, and large bearing housings, with optional custom fixtures available according to workpiece requirements. The X-axis is equipped with two 45 mm-wide linear guideways, and the Z-axis with two 55 mm-wide linear guideways. Both axes are driven by servo motors directly connected to ball screws via elastic couplings. The symmetrical dual-guideway layout helps distribute cutting forces evenly, reducing the risk of guideway deformation and feed vibration during heavy-duty machining.
Swing Diameter and Maximum Machining Capacity
The CNC vertical lathe offers a maximum swing diameter of Φ800 mm and a machining diameter of Φ700 mm, with a fixed machining height of 700 mm. It comes standard with a 21-inch hydraulic chuck for large workpieces, while 15-inch, 24-inch, and 32-inch chucks can be selected based on workpiece dimensions. Complex turning operations-including external turning, facing, and internal boring-can be completed in a single setup, eliminating the need for re-clamping and re-alignment.
Spindle
The machine is equipped with a 22 kW high-power spindle motor and a Φ160 mm spindle bore, with a speed range of 100–800 rpm. The front spindle support uses a combination of a double-row cylindrical roller bearing and a bidirectional thrust angular contact ball bearing, while the rear support adopts a double-row cylindrical roller bearing. High-precision imported spindle bearings are used and lubricated with imported high-speed grease.
Turret
The turret is available in either 4-station or 8-station configurations, with vertical or horizontal mounting options. The 8-station turret is well suited for high-mix, low-volume production, allowing multiple tools-such as OD turning tools, boring bars, parting tools, and threading tools-to be installed in a single setup. A driven turret option is also available for drilling operations, depending on specific machining requirements.

Case Studies
Several manufacturers of construction machinery components have adopted this CNC vertical lathe with an 800 mm swing diameter for heavy-duty wheel hub machining. Compared with smaller vertical lathes, single-shift output increased from 30 to 48 workpieces, while outer diameter tolerances and end-face runout were consistently maintained within 0.01 mm.
In addition, a wind power component manufacturer utilized an 8-station turret CNC vertical lathe to complete multiple machining operations-including flange facing, bore machining, and seal groove cutting-in a single setup.

● Machine bed and key casting inspection
● Precision inspection of guideways and drive components
● Spindle dynamic balance testing
● Overall assembly accuracy inspection
● No-load running test ● Load cutting test
