Product Introduction

This vtl vertical turret lathe features a maximum turning diameter of Φ1000 mm and a maximum turning height of 1000 mm. Equipped with a 32-inch hydraulic chuck, it is suitable for machining large-diameter, heavy-duty disc-shaped components, including adapter flanges, wind power hubs, construction machinery wheel discs, large valve bodies, rail transit brake discs, heavy-duty vehicle hubs, and mining equipment bearing housings.
The machine supports both roughing and finishing operations on internal and external cylindrical surfaces, conical surfaces, end faces, grooves, stepped surfaces, and arc contours.

Large-Diameter Spindle

The large-diameter (Φ200 mm) spindle assembly incorporates multiple sets of precision thrust bearings and is driven directly by a high-power 22 kW motor, minimizing transmission losses while delivering high torque at low speeds. Even during heavy-duty machining of forged steel and cast iron workpieces, the spindle maintains stable performance without vibration or speed fluctuation, helping to achieve consistent surface quality.

Lubrication System

The machine is equipped with a centralized automatic lubrication system that provides timed, intermittent lubrication to the guideways and ball screws, ensuring reliable operation while reducing maintenance requirements. The electrical cabinet features a fully enclosed design with an IP54 protection rating and an integrated air-conditioning unit to prevent dust ingress and maintain stable operating temperatures.

Belt Drive System

The spindle pulley is connected to the CNC servo motor pulley via a belt drive. Combined with the 22 kW servo motor, this configuration provides stepless speed control across a wide operating range, meeting the spindle speed requirements of both roughing and finishing operations.

Large-Size Chuck

The machine comes standard with a 32-inch waterproof hydraulic chuck. Sealing strips installed between the jaw carriers and the chuck body help prevent coolant from entering the spindle and protect the sliding surfaces from chip contamination and wear. Three T-slots on the chuck face allow for quick fixture changes, providing the flexibility required for machining a wide variety of workpieces.
