What is the reason why the spindle of the CNC lathe shakes and does not rotate?

CNC vertical lathe is a high-precision automated processing equipment that can achieve efficient processing of metal parts. The spindle of CNC lathe shaking and not rotating is a common fault, mainly due to the following reasons:
1. The tool is unbalanced or installed incorrectly: The design and processing of CNC vertical lathe tools are unreasonable. The tools will be subjected to different stresses during use, resulting in imbalance, which in turn causes spindle shaking.
2. Spindle bearing wear: After long-term use of CNC vertical lathe, the spindle bearing will inevitably wear, causing the spindle to shake when rotating.
3. Loose spindle drive belt: The spindle drive belt of CNC vertical lathe is prone to looseness or wear after long-term use, making the spindle unable to rotate normally.
4. Motor failure: When the motor of CNC vertical lathe fails, the spindle cannot rotate normally, which will also cause spindle shaking.
For the above reasons, we can take different measures to repair. For example, replace the tool with a well-balanced tool and adjust the tool installation position; replace or repair the spindle bearing; replace the spindle drive belt, adjust and repair it; check and repair the motor.
In short, CNC vertical lathes play a pivotal role in factory production lines. If the spindle shakes and does not rotate, it will not only affect production efficiency, but also lead to inaccurate parts processing and even lower-quality products. Therefore, if the spindle shakes and does not rotate, it should be handled in a timely manner to ensure the normal operation of the equipment.
