The components of a CNC lathe are mainly composed of a bed, a spindle box, a tool holder, a tailstock, a CNC system, a hydraulic system, a cooling system, a lubrication system, a chip conveyor, sheet metal, etc. So what are the functions of these parts? Here is a brief introduction for everyone:
Bed: The bed of a CNC lathe has a horizontal structure and an inclined structure. Generally, a flat bed CNC lathe has a horizontal structure, and an inclined bed CNC lathe has an inclined structure.
Spindle box: It mainly controls the speed shifting and other operations of the CNC lathe.
Tool holder: The place where the CNC lathe puts the tool, there are 4-station tool holders, 6-station tool holders, 8-station tool holders, etc.
Tailstock: The tailstock of a CNC lathe is a device used to process very long shaft parts. Some customers only process disc-type workpieces and do not need a tailstock.
CNC system: CNC system is the main operating place of CNC lathe. CNC lathe processes workpieces through CNC system. Commonly used CNC systems include Guangshu system, Fanuc system, Siemens system, Kandi system, etc.
Hydraulic system: CNC lathe uses hydraulic system to realize hydraulic control to process workpieces.
Cooling system: It uses coolant to cool the processed workpiece.
Lubrication system: It is used for lubrication of various parts of CNC lathe.
Chip conveyor: It is used to discharge waste chips from CNC lathe.
Protection: The protection outside the CNC lathe, commonly known as external protection. It is used to protect the personal safety of operators.
