What are the cooling methods of CNC milling machines?

The cooling method of CNC milling machines is an important part of ensuring the normal operation of CNC milling machines. Common CNC milling machine cooling methods are as follows:

1. Coolant cleaning and cooling method: This method often uses a coolant circulation system to clean and cool the inside of the machine tool through circulating coolant, thereby controlling the temperature of the machine tool and preventing machine tool parts from being damaged due to overheating.

2. Gas cooling method: The gas cooling method is mainly aimed at high temperature problems caused by excessive cutting heat during high-speed milling. The spraying of cooling gas can control the working temperature of the tool within a suitable range, while also maintaining the cutting lubrication effect and improving the tool life.

3. Hydraulic cooling method: In response to the high temperature problem that may occur during workpiece processing, external coolant is used for pressurized circulation cooling to ensure that the workpiece is not affected by heat and improve processing efficiency.

4. Internal cooling method of the machine tool: This method often uses an internal water cooling system to cool the inside of the machine tool through circulating water to prevent machine tool parts from being damaged due to overheating. This method is suitable for occasions with high processing precision requirements and high temperature processing.

No matter which cooling method is used for CNC milling machines, it is necessary to select the appropriate cooling method according to the specific situation, master the type of coolant, cooling capacity, concentration and other parameters, and regularly maintain and service the cooling system to ensure the normal operation of the CNC milling machine.
